What is Alpaca Fiber Market?

How do I sign up?
You can create an account by clicking the "Sign Up" button on our homepage or by navigating directly to the sign-up page. After you verify your account, you can sign in to place orders, track certification submissions, or manage seller activity if your account has vendor access.
What is the difference between farms and vendors?
On Alpaca Fiber Market, farms are the seller identities behind fiber listings and many product listings. In practice, a farm with vendor access can manage fiber, products, and customer orders from the farm dashboard.
Can anyone list fiber or products?
No. Listing inventory requires vendor access. If your account is not setup as a vendor, the product and fiber entry pages will show access guidance instead of the listing form.
How do certification submissions work?
You can submit certified fleece, carded fiber, or roving for intake and review through the certification workflow. Each submission generates a ticket number and invoice number. Submission orders appear in My Orders history, and detailed processing status appears on the My Submissions page.
How do product orders work?
Product orders are submitted as order requests through individual product pages. Buyers can review order history on the My Orders page, and vendors can update fulfillment status from the farm dashboard.
How are payments handled?
Payment and fulfillment flows may vary by listing type and current marketplace setup. Certification submissions generate invoice-based fees, and product orders are currently handled as order requests with seller follow-up rather than instant cart checkout for every transaction type.
